With this evolution, Brahman Hills is emerging as Africa's first fully integrated, Blue Zone-inspired, longevity-led wellness destination.
A Wellness Destination Shaped by Landscape
At Brahman Hills, the spa is extending into the Serenity Garden, our 22-hectare labyrinth that already holds its own quiet presence within the Midlands landscape. Here, wellness becomes part of the earth itself.
In this next phase, guests will move seamlessly between treatment spaces, thermal rituals, reflective walking paths, and secluded garden rooms. The garden will not sit beside the spa as an attraction. It will become part of the journey itself, with the labyrinth forming the heart of the experience.

This represents a shift from the traditional spa experience to something far more immersive: a living environment where wellness is experienced through movement, stillness, and nature itself.
Built for Depth, Not Volume
This is not a cosmetic enhancement or a light upgrade. It is a significant, multi-million-rand investment in reimagining what a wellness destination can be in Africa.
Our focus is not scale for its own sake, but depth, intention, and longevity. Every decision is anchored in creating an environment that feels intimate, considered, and enduring.

As Founder Iain Buchan explains:
Africa's First Fully Integrated, Longevity-Led Wellness Destination
The development is guided by regenerative thinking and Blue Zone principles, where wellbeing is shaped not only by treatments, but by how people live within a space.
Paths become part of ritual. Water becomes part of pause. The landscape itself becomes an active participant in restoration. Wellness here is not something scheduled into a day. It is something that unfolds with every step taken through the land.

The Future of The Serenity Garden
As the Serenity Garden evolves, so too does its vision. The final landscape will include expansive garden rooms, an underground orchid house, olive groves, African art installations, water features, and more than five kilometres of contemplative walkways. Each element is being designed with one intention: to slow time, not fill it.

A Globally Recognised Foundation
This expansion builds on the international reputation of the HealingEarth™ Transformative Wellness Spa, already recognised with awards including Spa of the Year at the Destination Deluxe Awards 2025, alongside honours from the World Luxury Spa Awards and Lux Global Spa Awards.
These accolades reflect a philosophy that has always guided our work:that wellness is not simply an offering, but an experience shaped with care, intention, and precision.

A Journey Back to Self
For Elisabeth Brandt, Founder and CEO of Healing Earth™ Global, this expansion reflects a deeper purpose:

That sentiment echoes throughout Brahman Hills. It is the foundation of everything being created.
A new innovative era awaits
The spa will close from 1 June to 31 August 2026 for construction, with a planned phased reveal towards the end of the year. Yet even during this period of transformation, the essence of Brahman Hills remains unchanged. If anything, it deepens.
Because what is emerging is not simply a destination. It is a one-of-a-kind wellness experience: a sanctuary where land and visitor meet in a shared rhythm of stillness, reflection, and renewal.

The first phase of our renewed Wellness Sanctuary will be revealed on 1 September 2026.
We look forward to sharing more as this journey unfolds. Follow our progress and be part of the next chapter of wellness at Brahman Hills.
